Tip of the week

When Should Option Fees And Earnest Money Be Delivered?

The earnest money should be delivered to the title company, while the option fee should be delivered directly to the Seller and/or Listing Broker by the buyer(s). Both should be delivered within three days after the effective date of the contract. However, if the last day to deliver the earnest money lands on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, this deadline is extended until the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday. The time to deliver the option fee is not affected by the weekend or legal holidays.

How Long Does An Agent Have To Deposit The Earnest Money Once A Binding Contract Has Been Negotiated?

The earnest money must be deposited by the close of business of the second working day after execution of the contract by the principals, unless a different time is agreed upon in writing by the principals to the transaction.

Image Resizing for Command Marketing Profile

(Will work for other purposes as well!)

I have had other tech tips about image resizing in the past, but the topic comes up again when we are adding  a headshot and logo images to our Command Marketing Profile. I have suggested sites such as Canva.com and BeFunky.com to accomplish this task, however there are many options available on how to resize images and keep the quality you need.

If you are unfamiliar with a resource to accomplish image resizing or need step by step instructions, this is a great video that gives you specific directions for resizing images to 360 x 360 pixel using Canva.com. It will help you not only resize, but do it where you are showing exactly what others will see in your Command Marketing Profile.

For the market center logos that need to be 360 x 360, go to our intranet and select Market Center > Documents > Logos and Style Guide and in the KWDMN Commonly used logo folder, I have added the KWDMN logo that is 360 x 360.
