Agent Tip of the Week!
Are You Sure No One is Listening to Your Private Conversation?
If you’re on the go, it may be easiest to take a call about the next negotiation step while in line for your morning coffee. But be careful … while those around you may not hear the other side of the conversation, what they hear you saying may be more than what your client wanted known.
Even in-person conversations can be critical moments for confidentiality. For instance, imagine you’re debriefing outside a home you just viewed with your clients. Would you want the neighbor walking her dog to overhear how they would offer more than asking because they love the house?
Always be mindful of who can eavesdrop on your crucial conversations especially in the office. If your client—or an assistant or other agent—wants to start a discussion about a delicate topic, suggest you pause until you can get to a more private place.

GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS!!!
It’s Kelle Contest Time!!!
We are going to be doing “Kelle Bingo” through the end of October. Every Monday, we will announce the rules (straight line, four corners, blackout etc) for the week in order to qualify to win. At the end of each week, all you have to do is send me your card with the screenshots of the tasks that you have accomplished and you will be entered into a drawing to win a prize! DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR CARD! You will need all of those spaces for the eventual blackout goal that will be announced for the last week of October!
Have you had to type a clients information in again and again? Here is the solution!
If you have a client selling, and you have entered their personal information (email, phone number, address, etc.) in the “seller’s loop”, then they also purchase a home with you and you create a “buyer’s loop”, typically their information does not populate into the second loop. Here is how to solve that problem.
An overview of people and contacts (from Dotloop Support Documentation)
Whenever we add anyone to a loop we will enter their first and last name, their email address typically, and their role. Once you have selected the appropriate role, more information will be presented to fill. dotloop takes this information and uses it to autofill your documents for you, but it also adds this person’s name and email address to your CONTACTS. This is important because any time you add that same individual to a loop in the future, dotloop will predict their information after you key in a few characters of their name or email.
To have a clients information autofill in a “buyer’s loop” after they have been entered into a “seller’s loop”, all you need to do is go to the Dotloop “People” section (menu item at the very top), on the left menu select “Contacts”, then find contact and change that contacts role from “Seller” to “Buyer”. Per Dotloop Support, this will not change anything in the seller’s loop for this client, but it will allow this person’s information to be auto-filled into the buyer’s Loop.
You can also update any contacts information here in the contacts, as needed.
