I want to wish everyone a safe and happy 

4th of July holiday next week!

 

  Our office will be closed on 7/4/18 in observance of Independence Day. 

 

 

On July 4th, 2018, America will be 242 years old and is the anniversary of the publication of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America from Great Britain in 1776. 

 

We are blessed to have political freedom to live and work with abundance!!!!!

I am on vacation beginning next week and will return to the office on Wednesday, 7/11/18.  I am excited to share that I am heading far north to Alaska.  I will not miss the Texas heat and I hope everyone will keep as cool as possible during your holiday celebrations.

Agent Tip of the Week!

Can You Use Outdated Forms?

 

 

No, and you should not accept an offer or any TREC Promulgated or TAR form that is outdated.  If so, you should present the offer to your seller(s) and tell them it’s on an outdated form that may not reflect current changes to the law.  Next, inform the other agent/broker that the form is outdated and that the other broker is obligated under TREC rules to use a current form.  If your seller(s) intends to counter the offer, draft the counteroffer on a current form.  If your seller(s) wants to accept the offer on the outdated form and not move the sale to a current form, urge them to seek the advice of counsel before doing so.

Creating Outstanding Realtors for Excellence –  is a fast track program to provide agents with the foundation needed to launch their business, and get off to a fast, exciting start in real estate!

This 90 minute orientation class covers how, what, when and where details necessary to get your Real Estate business started with Dallas Metro North.  You will be introduced to “Path to Success”. Path to Success is your first 100 days business guide.
