In our area and in our office, optimism is in the air. The phone is ringing and people are considering moving. It is a great time to sell your home, with an increase in the number of potential buyers. It’s also a great time to buy a home, with interest rates remaining low. But don’t be fooled. Buyers continue to demand great condition and a fair price. The recent downturn forced us all to slow down, educate ourselves and become more savvy consumers. The busy marketplace, with educated consumers, puts professional Realtors in demand and lets savvy sellers get their homes sold quickly. It’s a great time to be in real estate!
As our market ticks up and many real estate agents get busier, I think this is a very important time for agents to stop and plan for their growth. Your client service, your integrity, your creativity, your talents, your work ethic – these are your “magic”. As you answer more calls and run just a little bit faster, are you losing your “magic”? Do you need systems and do you know where to go get them? Do you need to make a great hire and do you know how to do that? Don’t lose sight of your strengths as you grow, find leverage so that your growth can be sustained along with your “magic”.
